A lot of weddings are planned to have a reception that goes from 6 PM until 10 PM and a lot of those weddings end up fizzling out before 8:30 as guests start to leave early.

Now, the reason a wedding feels like it’s over is because someone convinced the bride and groom to cram all of the events into the first 45 minutes thinking they will have 2 1/2 hours of dancing at the end of the night, but it never really works out that way.
